Antonio Lopez de Santa Anna early life was just like any other middle class childhood. He had many life accomplishments ,and many things happened after his death. Although Santa Anna early life was full of ups and downs he didn’t come out to bad.Santa was born on february ,21 ,1794 in Xalapa, Mexico. He was born to a middle class family. His mother name was Manuele Perez de Lebron and his father name was Antonio Lopez de Santa Anna. His father served as a subdelegation for one spanish province of vena cruz. When he first joined the army he rose through the ranks at great speed .then his biggest accomplishments was helping gain mexico independence. Which, helped him with the election and help him become dictator many times. One of his biggest obstacles was when he lost his leg in a battle but that didn’t stop him. So what did he do? He got a wooden leg but soon it was stolen but that didn’t slow him one bit.he was also known for saying one phrase without blood, without tears,no glory. Santa Anna Accomplished many things in his lifetime.
After Santa Anna death mexico didn’t change all that much. Even after his death mexico still had a dictator and his name was Porfirio Diaz.People believe he died of old age since he was 82 when he passed.He died in poverty and on the day he died the city of mexico was as quiet as could be. He died on June 21,1876 in mexico city. Most of the town folks say he is waiting for the day that he will return to power. Even though he may had been bad there were some people out there who loved him.
