A man lies on the floor of his cell, dead with his wrists slit broken tooth brush in his left hand . His name was Sanford Lockwood he was mentally disturbed when he did speak it wasn’t pleasant he spoke of the monster he saw that killed his friends only thing is that he killed his friends. Before he lost he was decent enough, he was a local college student. It was so dark in the corridor, I held my lantern up high to see better. I unlock the cell and yell for help as I enter the cell I notice something next to him on the ground it was the notebook that he had been given. I pick up the notebook and flip through the pages it was filled I read a paragraph and then hid it in my coat and walked out. It seemed to be a memoir of the day “he” killed his friends. The other guards come storming down the hall and soon enough so do the police. It was quickly ruled a suicide. I will now recount his story. He said that he and his friends were at some cave with a scenic overview of the ocean. I live in a small Portside town up near Dunwich. Anyways he wrote about how they were having an entertaining time until his friend Robert recommended that they should go deeper into the cave. He kept asking throughout the day until everyone just said yes. They started walking deeper into the cave furthermore they could barely see. Moreover Sanford thought that Robert was acting rather queerly. Nevertheless Robert wanted to keep going so they did. Until they saw a glow near what they thought was the end of the cave. He describes it as “Greenish but it was so dark we couldn’t see what the origin of the glow
