Experiment
1.) When I rubbed my fingers over the sandpaper the coarseness was a 5 on scale of 7. After two min wait the coarseness is a little soft and I would say it felt like a 2 on a scale of 7. My perception change because I honestly though that the sand paper would stay the same. Looking back I guess I should have known because I did go over the sandpaper a couple of times. By doing that I allow my fingers to weaken the sandpaper.
2.) What surprise me is that some of the sugar was still in my mouth, but all I could taste is the water, with a little sweetness to it. My mindset would have been once I got the sugar water out of my mouth. The fresh water would have been all I would have tasted.

The first experiment it was probably my favorite. I had to rub my finger over the sand paper and then I had to tell what I though how tough it was. I did it and then I had to wait and go back over it see if it was the same are softer. To me it was a lot softer and I thought it would be harder. The next experiment I will call the sugar water test. When I drink the sugar water and spit it out. the fresh water had a slight sweetness to it. What surprise me if I would think that the fresh water would have tasted like water? I will say I probably put to much sugar in my cup. The next experiment I will call the card test. I will just say that the cards and the light surprise me. I thought it would stay dimmer loner then it did. The last experiment I did my hands were lukewarm after I put them in the bowl of mix water. I figure that my hands would have remain warm once I put them in the bowl.
Adaptation in the first experiment is when I take a break and touch the sandpaper again. My feeling changed when I touch the sandpaper again. The second experiment adaptation change when I put the fresh water in my mouth. I tasted sweetness of the sugar in the fresh water. The third experiment Is different when I move the card and the flesh lights. The last experiment is when I put my hands in the bowl of hot and cold

Stanely Milgram was a social phycologist who conducted an experiment in 1963 about nonviolent people being capable of hurting others due to obeying the authority under pressure despite their feeling of remorse. The way the experiment received progression was by having people play the role of a teacher and a learner. The teacher obeys the authority and the learner had to memorize a certain amount of words. If the learner failed to the duty, he would received a punishment of a dose of high voltage shock. Although the purpose of the experiment was to test how the learner was capable of learning, it to was to test the capability of the teacher to continue the experiment whether or not they felt guilt.…

While the experiment was indeed fascinating to watch, several strengths and weaknesses existed in the research. In the beginning of the episode, Adam and Jamie went to Stanford University to look for a suitable measure for pain tolerance. They were introduced to four standard measures of pain, including extreme heat, capsaicin injection, electricity, and cold pressor test by Dr. Chu, who specialize in pain. After testing out themselves, the hosts of the show chose the cold pressor test (Rees, 2010). Thus, the measurement selected for the experiment is reliable, as it is approved by specialist.…

The purpose of the experiment was to investigate the effect of the different liquids on the gummy bears. We saw how the gummy bears change color, shape, and size. What my hypothesis is that I thought all the gummy bears were all gonna shrink, but what actually happened was all of the gummy bears except for one got bigger. I think everything was fine in the experiment so nothing went wrong. Now that we experienced the experiment, I think I still have some questions like “What will happen if you leave the gummy bear inside the water for like more than one day?”…

CONCLUSION: Two weeks ago, Soundings XVI performed Lab Experiment Number Two. Lab Experiment Number Two was similar to the previous, Lab Experiment Number One. The prompt was to compare the results of pennies dropped in water, versus the result of pennies being dropped into milk, both at 100 mL. The main purpose of this lab was to further discuss more scientific parts of this lab, such as the surface tension when the cylinder was close to overflowing for both the milk and water. Before performing this lab, my group and I created a hypothesis to reflect upon and to state what we believed would dictate the results.…

The lab that was conducted in class throughout this whole week was basically to find one suitable objective and that was to determine the friction of four surfaces. It consisted of multiple trials of pulling on a block that was measured at .118 kg, for each specific trial that was conducted. For the block, weights were added on top to determine the friction and how it was affected towards the tension and feel of multiple surfaces that the lab was primarily trying to accomplish. The multiple surfaces were cardboard, sandpaper, rubber and cork. My hypothesis experimented that the block of wood had many factors that determine the friction of the four surfaces would be the material, normal force and that static friction is way greater than kinetic…
