A longtime resident of San Luis Obispo, California, Ben Lerner earned his bachelor of science in human development with an emphasis on developmental psychology from California Polytechnic State University (Cal Poly). While attending Cal Poly, he competed as a member of the University’s championship cycling team and taught general bicycle education and bicycle safety classes in conjunction with multiple Cal Poly clubs.
