San Dimas High School Research Paper

There is a large amount of people that believe self-improvements are made through setting goals on a constant and continuous basis. San Dimas High School (SDHS) helps people develop throughout their lives by using 12 qualities called Expected Schoolwide Learning Results (ESLRs) which are expected to be created by fostering these qualities in all the students of the school they instruct. One way that San Dimas High School advocates for the development of these goals is by constantly nurturing the desire of self-improvement into all students attending the school. I am a student who attends SDHS and, I plan to achieve three of the twelve ESLRs this year.

I can achieve the ESLR, to be able to read and listen with understanding by learning new vocabulary and practicing listening to audiobooks. This is a practical to achieve this goal because it will improve my understanding of the English language. I would like to improve my understanding of communication because working in groups as well as interacting with others would be easier to do if I become able to clearly understand communication. The second ESLR I can accomplish this year is to be able to demonstrate integrity by practicing following what I say and doing what I believe in as the right thing to do. This is important to me because integrity is an important value in society and I venerate the concept of integrity. the process to attaining this goal is sensible because integrity can only be improved upon by following what you promise, doing what you think is the right thing to do and testing your integrity continuously.
