There were large numbers of people from different faiths in San Antonio: Buddhists, Hindus, Muslims, Catholics, Atheists, Agnostics, and Mormons to name a few. Nearly every person I encountered believed something different about the world. The transition to a place with such a diversity of beliefs was quite a life-changing ordeal. It has given me a better understanding of the world, and a realization that most people do not have the same beliefs that I do.
