Samurai superiority As the Samurai viewed upon his people he saw sadness and fear in their eyes and he knew that only he could wipe those expressions off their faces and bring peace and prosperity to his people and country. The Japanese Samurai and the European Knights were both stronger warriors than others in the Middle Ages. Both of these warriors offered protection to the lower classes and fought for their kingdom/land. The Samurai were superior due to their devoted loyalty, religious beliefs, and their vigorous training. The Samurai were superior due to their vigorous training. Document E. -. Following their religion was a demonstration of dedication and discipline as they had to be religiously active while serving their people and Daimyo. It is tough to multitask but the Samurai did it so they demonstrated how they were superior in the religious aspect. The Samurai believed that when they died, if they lived a good life and followed their religion, they would be reincarnated into a new life because they had done good to their religion.
