Samurai and Knights are more similar than different. Both have a feudal system with a social pyramid and very protective armor that became useless after guns came around. They both also had codes that they had to be loyal to. Though some people think they're different because of their views on death, it is obvious that they have more similarities. Samurai and knights are more similar because of loyalty to code, feudal system, and their protective armor. The first reason Samurai and knights are similar is because they both have a feudal system. For example, in Doc. A it shows two social pyramids, one for Samurai and one Nights. Both samurai and Knights have the biggest and most important part of the social pyramid, they are both controlled …show more content…
For example, in Doc B. it shows how both have to have “Loyalty to the feudal Lords” and Doc E. how knights have“ to be loyal to the King.” Another example is, how Doc. E it shows how samurai “ Stands in physical readiness for any call to service.” Knights “Fight in no wrongful quarrel for worldly again.” This shows how knights and samurai were similar because the both had to follow their codes and if they didn't they would be disgraceful to the rewards or masters.
Lastly, Both are more similar than different because they both have very protective armor. For example, in Doc. D it shows how samurai armor had “Small iron scales” that were “bound together into iron plates with silk or leather cords.” and the knights armor was “Tiny metal rings linked together.” this didn't work so they used “plate armor.” Another example is, both armor has cons, knight armor “ could weigh 40 - 60 lbs” which was very heavy, samurai armor “became wet, the silk cords absorbed water and became very heavy.” This shows that both samurai and knights armor was very protective against attacks but have cons, too. As expressed, Samurai and knights are more similar than different. They both have protective armor, a feudal system, and loyalty to codes and there lord/ master.
