I interviewed, observed, and reviewed Sam’s records who is a Junior at Owatonna High School. Sam is receiving special education services under the Autism Spectrum Disorder and has been ever since first grade. He has progressed immensely throughout his years receiving special education services, but specifically since he has been at Owatonna High School notes his teachers and parents. Sam’s teachers and parents have seen substantial progress in his ability to independently complete tasks, work with technology, social skills and his progress with his academics. Sam is currently receiving services in social skills and math. He spends between 21% and 60% of his day in the resource room. Owatonna High School anticipates that Sam will graduate with
