Tile Shop Case Study

Improved Essays
When asking customers what stands out about the Tile Shop, they would say: service and selection. They rave about their new backsplash or bathroom and many have already recommended the Tile Shop to their friends or are scheming their next project so they can come back.

Selection
• “Great variety of EVERYTHING and fabulous service!”
• “The selection is outrageous. We wish we would’ve found The Tile Shop earlier! It will be my tile and stone store for all future projects.”
• “Why would I go anywhere else when your selection is second to none?”

Service

My husband is doing the job of remodeling our bathroom. And his exact quote was "Oh my god she thinks of everything". Thank you Taylor for working with us you really know you stuff. I would recommend you to everyone. -Sandy Stephens”

• “The Tile Shop had an amazing variety of tiles but what was more important, they had a very knowledgeable staff. We worked with Joe Marks. He was very patient and helpful in walking through the selection process. He was very supportive when dealing with a couple of minor problems. The manager, Joe Kletnick was also very helpful. If all businesses were run the way the Tile Shop is run, the world would be a better place. Our bathroom turned out to be fantastic. As soon as we finish with the finishing touches, I intend to send pictures. Thank you Don Wiberg”

• “The primary reason for my recommending the Tile Shop is Ann Dillett! She was responsive, customer focused, gave excellent advice, went the extra mile and was just great to work with! I 've been to other tile places in Madison where they hardly talk to you when you walk in the door. Having someone so customer focused and competent, such as Ann, made all the difference in the success of our bathroom project. A big thank you to Ann

I am a flooring maintenance contractor and owner of A-Floor 'd-Able Hard Surface Restoration. I am just now beginning my third year in business, due in no small part to the wonderful staff at The Tile Shop on Hickman Rd. in Urbandale, Iowa. When I began my business, I stopped in to inquire how many of their customers asked about tile and grout cleaning, and if they referred that kind of business. After a lengthy conversation with several staff members and the manager, James Collison, They seemed relatively impressed with my services and agreed to hand out a few of my cards. I received several leads over the next couple of months that really helped a small business like mine stay afloat during that critical first year. They have been a reliable source of leads ever since. In return, I recommend them to all of my customers for cleaning supplies, I have done a couple demonstration cleanings for them in a couple of their showroom shower pans, and the periodic donut drop on Saturday morning when they are at full

Another staff approached us and hands over a menu so we can order in advance while were checking the place and taking photos. Courteous and friendly, two things I observed about the people working at Bob Nowong.…

As Roman baths continued to grow, so did the use of tile in the baths. In 115 CE, tesserae continued to develop by incorporating human silhouettes rather than basic geometric shapes. The employee and customer interaction determines if a customer will return and if they return if they are going to bring more people or spend more money. This is why customer service is very important. There are several reasons why I support good customer services.…
