PERSONAL STATEMENT
My reason for pursuing college is because I want to become a business woman. I chose this course to study because I’m good with numbers and people, also because I want to help my community. My career goal is to go to a 4 year college studying business. My professional goal is to attend 4 year in college after I receive my diploma at Honokaa High and Intermediate School. I chose this as my professional goal because I want to go to college and have a stable life after. It’s important to go to college to me because I can chase my goals and do whatever I want in the future, I can be whatever I want. In order to do this I would have to get good grades, pass all my classes, and study the sport I’m interesting in taking in college. I have to be also very focused on my school work because I can carry my knowledge and use it in college, that will help me a lot. Im also going to achieve my personal goal by surrounding myself with positive and supportive peers and adults. My teachers can help finish my class works and teach me the things I need to learn. I want to surround myself with adults like teachers and my counselor because they can help me with so many things. I have accomplished my classes that have taught me about my professional goal, and they have helped me a lot in knowing the tools that I need to learn what I want to take in college. The people that support me a lot would be my teachers, counselor, principal, friends, and family. They help me to do good in school and push me to work hard because In the end I’ll be successful. Its also one of the big reasons why I’m working very hard to receive my high school diploma, I want to make the people that support me proud because they care about me. My family supports me by teaching me how to be responsible, they teach me never to slack because there’s always something to do.
