One of the skills I was required to complete was to change a resident while he remained in bed. I noticed a particular gentleman was in need of assistance. While I cleaned and changed him, I realized he was embarrassed and distressed. I gently informed him I would make haste in my task to make him comfortable and he should not feel ashamed.
