Core branding elements must stay consistent throughout all marketing material, including but not limited to keeping the logo updated and consistent on all materials, introducing spot colors to create a unique color scheme, a continually updated informational blog featuring the same logo and color theme, along with an online shop and Foundation page, and a Facebook page and email newsletter sharing the same logo and color theme.
Establishing personal relationships with other business owners and heads of relevant associations that can help XYZ Company in terms of visibility and direct referrals is very important to the founders. XYZ Company will generate leads for customers through Google ads for keywords such as "children’s underwear," "girl’s clothing," "girl’s undergarments," etc. They will also be tracked as website visitors from Facebook page, online listings, and databases or as referrals through the membership program and business partners. Lead conversion begins with the informative website, which will be a resource for anyone interested in buying unique and innovative children’s underwear. The business will maintain the site, continually searching for and adding new partners and resources. The Facebook page for XYZ Company will share links of partnering businesses and organizations as well, serving as an additional outlet for this information. The site will encourage users to join the XYZ Company email newsletter which will advertise new product development, parenting resources, partnering businesses, causes XYZ Company cares about, and any update on the Foundation. The brand identity has yet to be established and the current customer range is extremely low. As the company is still within its second year in market, it should be positioning itself as a value-oriented company to attract families from middle class as their starting customers. The product quality is very high and so the products sold currently are ranging from 18 dollars to 22 dollars. With the addition of the boys’ underwear line and the adult shirt line, the prices should stay consistent with the already set prices. As this is a new market line, an exclusive product rate of 20 dollars per pair of underwear seems attainable to middle class families as well as a high enough quality to attract upper class families as well.
