When Joshua was born he was a healthy baby. I learned to decipher his cries as described in our text from fussy to angry, and pain (Arnett, 2016). When Joshua was one year old he was crawling, beginning to walk, and work on his balance. He did struggle with fine motor skills of putting the correct shape of an object into to same shape hole. As Joshua reached toddlerhood I began to leave Joshua with a sitter. Through the course I have learned this is secure attachment style and slow-to-warm-up by him crying when I would leave, settle down, then being excited upon my return. He also always showed a good temperament as he only got fussy when he was tired or bored. I was able to use goodness-of-fit by giving him quiet time or naps when needed.
