I'm interested in your school because primarily I wanted to learn in a culturally diverse environment that can give me the core tools and skills to become a leader in my desired focus of study. The acting and entertainment world is very competitive and faced paced. It requires Leadership, professionalism, and excellence to maintain.The staff has disrespected me in the previous college I attended. That took a significant adverse effect on me. Howard can help me prosper as positively in a world that normal belittle people like me. I wanted to expand my knowledge In particular; I'm most intrigued by the acting BFA department. I've also taken into consideration that not only your schools offers rigorous acting training the students, but also career opportunities during or after school. Moving here was not easy, I learned that my grandmother is a hoarder. It became hard trying to stay focus and motivated in school especially with the uncomfortable circumstances at home. However in the 8th grade through high school, I discovered I was very interested in acting thanks to one of my teachers who introduced me to the art form. Eventually, I kept myself busy with outside school programs like the "Youth on stage" All Stars project and Harlem School of the Arts Hsa Theatre Alliance Company. I even skipped out on my birthday plans when I turned 18 for a special performance of "The Colored Museum" by George C Wolfe.That is when I realized performing became second nature to me. No matter what route I took it always came back to acting. Even after gaining my Theatre associates degree I still have the urge to yearn more for the technique. However, your school offers me the tools to not only act but grants students other opportunities rather than a straight
