Birmingham, Alabama is where one of the best private schools in the south is located. Samford University is placed in a warm and urban part of Alabama. This university was founded by Edwin King, James Devotie, Julia Barron, Milo Jewett, Ralph Beeson in 1841. Samford is known mainly for Arts and Science as well as Law and Nursing. Outside of those majors, they offer many different degrees. Samford University offers 4 different housing units for all years that attend. 2 units include mixed genders and the 2 other units include only one gender allowed. Every units has living room, kitchenette, bathroom, and separate room with bedding. Samford University also provide multiple events for all students. Overall, Samford University looks for a hard working and leading skills in each student.

As you look around you, you see a large chapel where the current students worship the Lord. The chapel is surrounded by two flowing blue fountains that spray up from the ground. As you move through the campus, there is multiple building forming a giant circle. Inside each tall building, students are studying to graduate. Across the street and beside the campus is where all sports stadiums that is excluded by the class buildings and the four main dorms. Apart from the buildings, Samford has lots of large grass areas that are filled by students studying or hanging out. Along with the large fields, giant trees are randomly spread throughout the gorgeous campus. The deep blue sky is as dark as the sea. Samford is an example of a classic southern style.
