My thesis is that same-sex marriage should be maintained legal in Florida as well as their ability to adopt children, giving same-sex couples full parenthood privileges. The state of Florida opened to equality for same-sex married couple’s adoptions on June 5, 2015; although according to the American Academy of Pediatrics “same-sex couples were raising children in by about 96% of counties in the United States” (AAP).
