Why should we change a law that has been proven right throughout the earth’s history? The majority knew that same-sex relationships were wrong and so they kept it that way. Nowadays the majority still knows that homosexuality is wrong. As stated in the quote above, more than half of the states have rejected same-sex marriage because they know that it is morally and physically wrong. Knowing that the majority of the population knew that homosexuality is wrong should have changed the government’s verdict on same-sex marriage but surprisingly it did not.
