When I think of people who have been most influential in my life the one that stands out most is my Uncle, Sam Verni. Sam is the first generation of his family to be born in this country and grew up in a small home in New York City. As you may be able to guess, he did not come from wealth, but today lives in a beautiful home in Long Island and is the most generous man I have ever met. The reason why my Uncle Sam is the most influential person in my life is because he is living proof that if you work hard enough you will be successful. Sam went to his local public school, but somehow managed to get a perfect score on his SAT and gain a scholarship to NYU. There he went on to be a model student and was accepted into law school right out of college,
