Sam Houston High School Reflection Report

I recently went to the go center last week and they helped me apply for a scholarship that was due in 2 days. Luckily I filled it all out including 5 essays I had to turn in with it. It

Over the course of Dramatic Literature, we read and explored many important issues through literature. A moment that I found particularly powerful is when we read The Laramie Project and created interviews on the truth in drama through the production of our own documentary theater. My group conducted an interview on the question: is it okay for guys to sleep around, but not girls? In conducting the interview, the responses we got were overall the same. Many of the people we interviewed responded that it’s not okay for guys to sleep around, but not girls.…

When I first started Richland Community College, I thought it was going to be a breeze because of it being a community college. From the first week of it though, I realized this is not going to be a walk in the park. I realized I will have to put in extra time to study for tests and writing expansive papers. After being in Professor Trickel’s class for one semester, I have learned to study beforehand and not leave anything till the last minute, his class has taught me that time management is necessary in order to succeed. The class has also granted me new friends, who have helped me whether it be helping me understand the lesson, or sharing their study methods and materials.…

I assisted the Granby Public Schools Facilities Department / Custodial Staff in helping to clean various schools over the duration of the 2015 summer vacation. During my time there, I helped to meet a variety of daily cleaning needs around both the middle school and the high school; cleaning lockers, sweeping floors, setting up computers, delivering packages, and the like. The most valuable lesson I learned all the while was that there is no right way to do a job as long as it gets done. All things considered, I would hope to be given the opportunity to return to work again in the future; it was a great experience and I'm thankful to have been a part of…

As a member of society, I find it is very important to help the less fortunate in the community and do everything possible to advance ourselves as well as others. Reflection When signing up to take the Final Project Course this fall I was extremely nervous and not excited to start. Walking into the first day of class and learning more about what the final project would entail, I did feel slightly better but still scared that it was going to be too overwhelming and hard to complete by myself. Luckily, the individual meetings and emails with my professor made everything much more clear and inviting. These final project meetings were very helpful in terms of receiving constructive criticism and then going back home to make changes to the paper.…
