Allende has attempted to reform the land in order to distribute land to the rural peasants who was landless. Since the land has held under few landlords which holding for speculative profit rather than focusing on the production of agricultural products. According to the dissatisfaction of the United States from the Socialist government came to power, including the industry occupation. There was the combination boycott buying copper from Chile, cut all assistance, forced bank not giving loans to Chile and diplomatic isolation. So, the main income from export of copper was decreased. Moreover, Chilean has repeated with the Oil Shock Crisis of 1973, it made the capital flows out continuously. The economic downturn dramatically, the production has reduced causing by the land reform.
