Is Salt Lake City prepared for a Zombie Apocalypse? Probably not, no. Nobody could ever be completely prepared for an Apocalypse, let alone an entire city. Whether it be mentally or physically prepared. Not everybody is prepared for what we have to deal with now, let alone when they’re constantly being invaded by flesh eaters.…
Utah is a great place, and it has its own very unique history , it was the land where the pioneers planned to settle , away from persecution . This state was settled by the Mormon Pioneers ( members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints) who were led across the country by the church leader at the time Brigham Young. Their trek started in the city of Nauvoo, Illinois in the year of 1846, and it ended in Salt Lake City, Utah in the year of 1847.There were many explorations of new areas and then settlements , the people encountered new places new resources and deadly diseases too. The ideal college for me to attend would be Temple University’s School of Media and Communication, located in Philadelphia Pennsylvania. This is an ideal college for me, because after college, I hope to pursue a career in Sports Broadcasting, hopefully with a team in the Philadelphia area. Going to Temple is important to me because my siblings and father both attended Temple University. Temple is my preferred school at the moment, because I’m currently there about twice a week attending sporting events. Temple’s atmosphere and school spirit has grown on me over the years.…
Where you attend college is a critical decision, as it completely alters the direction your life will take. I've spent countless hours researching schools over the past few months, and can honestly say that no college has attracted me like Brandeis. Everything about it is perfect for me – the academics, location, size, diversity, and perhaps most of all, the principles of acceptance among the students and faculty. It's a place I could be myself and genuinely fit in. I'm confident that Brandeis will prepare me for life beyond college, both professionally and morally.…
These colleges were chose by how I feel will impact my life after college. The University of Nebraska Omaha was my safe in state choice, Colorado State University was my dream college that was out of state, and my most realistic choice was Kansas State University. The University of Nebraska Lincoln is a safe choice because, I would only be an hour away from home, and the tuition price is more reasonable being priced at $19,297. Yet Colorado State University would be my dream college since Colorado is in the top five colleges for veterinary medicine, and the class size seems to be more on the smaller side. Kansas State University would be my most realistic college since the requirements of having a 21 Act and anything over a 980 Sat would be easy enough to succeed in, and my other reason is that the distance from home is only 97.8 miles which is close to two hours.…
New York University, or NYU, is a four-year, private, large, and co-ed university. NYU is located in arguably the best city in the world, New York. NYU is my dream school because of its great Journalism program, the many job and internship opportunities, and the chance to live in a somewhat campus setting in the middle of New York City. Although there isn’t a cohesive NYU campus, the academic buildings and residence halls surround Washington Square Park in Greenwich Village.…
