Sally is a story that was made back in 1953. It is about a man and his farm of self driving cars. The author of Sally is Isaac Asimov. The story is about a man and his farm of driverless cars, a man comes to his farm and tries to steal or take his cars from him. Sally is similar to the cars that we have today. The story has a lot of similarities with how our world is today.
Self driving cars are a big help and basically a new type of freedom for people who can't drive around anymore. They can’t drive around and so they basically stay at home and never go out. “Steve Mahan, who is legally blind, was the first non-Google employee to ride alone in the gum-dropped-shaped driverless car.”- (Halsey III) “Those were the days when blind war veterans, paraplegics and heads of state were the only ones who drove automatics.”- ( Asimov).

With the self driverless car, you can basically not have to worry about crashing with someone else. You don't have to worry about any of the road traffic, because you won't be the one driving."If you close your eyes when you're riding with somebody you get a sense of whether this is a good driver, or whether they're not. These self-driving cars drive like a very good driver." - (Halsey III). “Every year machines like that used to kill tens of thousands of people.”- (Asimov) PG3
Driverless cars are almost here, and they just might change the way we drive today. Many brands are making self driving cars, and they are going to be all over the roads. They could be a form of freedom for the blind and disabled, or they could be a big danger to society. Either way, driverless cars are going to be a big improvement in society and are going to change the way we get around from place to place. The two stories are very similar and both explain the same thing, driverless cars are going to be a big upgrade on our transportation

He also explains how self driving cars will change everything around us by listing the advantages and disadvantages. I do agree with Kuper that drive-less cars will change our life. Therefore, the implementation of self-driven cars in America could benefit the daily lives of society. Point often overlooked, self-driven cars would turn the tables on road laws to benefit driver and non-drivers alike. Most importantly, Cohen explained that the dangers of driving under the influence(DUI) would be terminated because self-driven cars wouldn't allow people to be behind the wheel. This goes hand and hand with texting and driving. The people who lose their lives yearly to drunk drivers and distracted drivers would be saved due the inability of people driving.…

The popularity of the country pub, which has been undermined by strict drink-driving laws, may be revived. And so on (Schumpeter). These might not clock up much mileage, so carmakers would have to become more like fashion houses, constantly creating new designs to get people to swap their motors long before they have worn out. But cars that are driverless may not need steering wheels, pedals and other manual controls; and, being virtually crash less (most road accidents are due to human error), their bodies could be made much lighter (Schumpeter). If a driverless vehicle gets into an accident, who’s at fault?…
