Salad In Olive Garden And Cheese Cake Factory

Decent Essays
In addition to Anita's post, i would like to add that I like the way Olive Garden and Cheese Cake Factory, serves free bread, soup or salad. Personally, when ever I go to Olive Gardern, I love Cesar Salad with loads of cheese in it, which they serve for free. That concept is really attractive to visit the same restaurent frequently. At times, it gives satifaction, that after paying big bill, guests got something for which they do not have to pay. Also, i feel serving this salads for free, do not annoy guests, if the food arrives late during rush time or when there are less staff. This starters, especially free ones, keeps guests calm and patience to wait for their meal. Above all staff is very cordial, professional and knoweldgble of what food

Two years ago, The Atlantic wrote an analysis piece called “Cheap Eats: How America Spends Money on Food”. The article discusses the long-term trends of falling food prices relative to incomes, the increase in food purchased away from home, and how these compare across income classes. Another article by The Atlantic titled “The Myth That Links Poor Families to Fast Food” discusses the misconception that poor families are more prone to unhealthy eating. These articles highlight both cultural and national problems that the United States faces, centered on food availability, affordability, and public health. I decided I would take a closer look at the data and see if I reach the same conclusions, as well as analyze the potential impact of food…

Service Paper First of all the full service dining restaurant I choose to dine at was Olive Garden in Holly Springs with my family. When we ate dinner there it was a Friday night around seven pm it was pretty busy when we walked in and there were people sitting inside and outside waiting for their names to be called. The service started out great; there were three hostesses standing behind the host counter and they were all wearing black shirts and pants as their uniforms. They all had smiles on their faces and waited patiently to greet who ever walked through the doors. Each host made eye contact and welcomed us as we walked up by saying “welcome to Olive Garden how are you all this evening?”…

I plan to own a small, local restaurant when I’m older, and plan to only hire homeless people to work as my staff. Not only that, but I would want to set up something where everyday people could come into my restaurant and when they bought their meal, they would have the option to pay an extra amount, such as $3 and would receive this sticker. The people would then write something encouraging on the sticker and stick it to the wall. This wall could completely change someone 's day because that sticker is a ticket to a free meal. So for example, if a homeless man walked in, they could grab one of the stickers off the wall, bring it to the front and receive a free burger or a free slice of pizza, or something along those lines.…
