Another art peices, Saint Michael the Archangel, right leaf of a diptych, carve in the early sixth century from Byzantine period. This very precious right leaf of diptych depicted Saint Michael the Archangel has been considered to be one of the most greatest surviving Byzantine ivory panel. And Hagia Sophia is the patron of this very exceptional beautiful ivory panel. The purpose of this beautiful vory panel is made for commemorating the meeting in Constantinople to restore the power of Roman empire, and make the western and eastern to be unified.
