Saint Michael The Archangel Model

That Saint that I chose to be my model throughout confirmation and to base my Saint report on is Saint Michael the Archangel. The reason why I chose Saint Michael the Archangel is because he is the patron of grocers, soldiers, mariners, paratroopers, police and sickness. What caught my attention about Saint Michael the Archangel is that he is a patron of police and soldiers. Ever since I was little, I would always watch movies and TV shows involving police and soldiers because I admired them so much. I was inspired by their strength and bravery; fighting off bad people in the world who are harming others/causing trouble and risking their lives just to save others. I wanted and still want to have as much courage and determination as police and soldiers do. As soon as I realized that Saint Michael was the patron of them, I immediately wondered why. I was curious on why, from all the Saints, why him? I then began wondering what did he do to get the title "the Archangel" in his name. All my curiosity led to me wanting to know a lot about him. Saint Michael happens to be one of the seven Archangels. The seven Archangels was him, Saint Jophiel, Saint Chamuel, Saint Gabriel, Saint Raphael, Saint Uriel, and lastly Saint Zadekiel. These seven Saints were God's very extraordinary friends. They were also "Shining and Strong and Powerful". Saint Michael was known as "the Angel of the Lord" and throughout the history of the world, he was the Archangel that was sent to Moses, Jacob, Abraham and many other people. Saint Michael is also one of the three Archangels that was stated in the Scriptures by name along with Saint Raphael and Saint Gabriel. Saint Michael is the Archangel that was the defender of Jesus during His Sacred Humanity. He was spoken twice in the Old and New Testament.
