Saint John Bosco lived from 1815 to 1888, and in that time he accomplished many things such as being a writer, teacher, priest, and a ward of his own orphanage. He was adored by the children he guided to God. He grew up on a farm with his mother and brother, his father died when he was just two years old, so he went to a priest for advice when he matured. The priest really helped him. From that day forward he decided to be a priest so he could help all of the little boys, and so began the career of Saint John Bosco.
When he was a priest, he met an orphan boy. The little boy was hungry and had a hopeless look in his eyes. John took him home, fed him, and gave him a place to sleep. Then, the next day he took the boy to an old shed where he had gathered up all of the orphaned

He wrote Memoirs of Oratory, Dreams, Visions, and prophecies of John Bosco, and finally the Spiritual Writings of John Bosco.
These books told about his prophecies and had some wisdom from John. Another more popular book was called Forty Dreams of St. John Bosco.
John was also a priest, he wanted to go to school to be a priest when he was younger. He once had a dream that meant his mother would endure suffering to make John’s dream a reality. His elder brother was always giving him a hard time when he didn’t put in as much hours into farm work. He soon went and moved out to live in the city by himself to go to school. He worked countless hours at many jobs. As soon as he caught up to the other kids, he finished school almost instantly. Then he became a priest he enjoyed his job and tried to help everyone.
John Bosco was also an educator or teacher. He worked at trade schools for the younger children. He believed in religious education. He also believed in kindness but firmness. He believed that teachers should treat the children as if they are your children. Other than that, he was a regular
