Important qualities that I think are good for people to have is when they are true to their word, speak up, and hold strong to their principles. Saint Catherine was such a person. It all started when she was born, 287 in Alexandria Egypt. She loved to read and study Jesus as much as she could. As she read, she fell in love with God. To show her passion she became Christian. This was a very fearless thing to do because at the time being Christian was illegal. The Egyptian Emperor found out quickly. Right away he was furious with her. His first action was to convince her to stop being Christian. But when that didn't work he threatened to kill her, but that didn't work either.
