This enormous pressure resulted from broken agreements by the North, and hollow promises from President Nixon. With theses circumstances the Northern army was able to plow their way threw South Vietnam and took the capital in about four months. Even in the dire moments of Saigon heroes still arose, mainly the pilots that risked their lives to save as many lives as the y could. These pilots did not care if you were American or Vietnamese they risked their lives for the benefits of others regard less of race or ethnicity , and it is through these lots and heroes that we fully see the Ignatian Spiritually lived out.
