My favorite constellation would have to be Sagittarius. The reason for choosing this constellation is due to the fact that it is my zodiac symbol. I feel that the symbol is fully representative of my personality. This constellation is referred to as "the Archer" and is usually depicted as a centaur holding a bow and arrow. Sagittarius can be found in the southern sky.

Sagittarius was first cataloged by the Greek astronomer Ptolemy in the 2nd century. Eratosthenes equated Sagittarius to Crotus, which is a mythical creature with two feet and a satyr's tail and the nurse to the nine muses.
