When we were told to go to the website ihaveaplaniowa.gov to take tests to figure out what kind of jobs we would like, corrections were one of the first results. A career in corrections appeals to me for a number of reasons. I enjoy working with other people and excel working with people from different backgrounds other than my own. While I was in the Army there was strong demand for a structured work environment.
