Fiction novelist, Sage De Carlo, is a young woman finally free from her painful past. She moved to Manhattan, marries famed defense attorney Ayden De Carlo, and pursues her dream career.

Life seemed to be going her way until Ayden was found gunned down outside his firm. Hoping to escape the pain, she moved to a quiet town in Vermont.
