I ran to everyone and alarmed them to leave. By the time everyone was running out the cops were outside. Since everyone knew the safety protocols everyone knew where to exist. I have never been so happy in my life to see cops before. After this I canceled future appointments for the day since the cops are in the facility. I decided not to aware the patients of what had just happened because I did not want to scare them away. Personally if I was them and knew about this situation I would not return. Also, the patients that were inside, I made sure to call them afterwards and follow up with them making sure they would come back for future appointments. The patients I could not get in contact with I left them a message and apologized for the convenience. After two hours of this situation we called all the appointments for the afternoon and confirmed with them that we were open and they could still come. This situation cost the company a lot of money. Many patients were not seen and this affected us. I was upset this happened but grateful no one got hurt. I think no matter how prepared you think you are you can never avoid dangerous situation. This could have happened to anyone and any organization. Unfortunately, it had to happen to us but it was a learning
