Ammonia has a characteristic odor that can be detected by humans; this gives a warning even in case of minor leakage of the gas however it is also toxic and has to be handled with care. Gas fueled forklifts needn’t be the major source of carbon monoxide exposure in the warehouse since complete combustion of the fuel in adequate oxygen supply results in the formation of carbon(iv)oxide and water and no carbon monoxide is emitted. Inadequate oxygen results in incomplete combustion that results in the formation of carbon monoxide. Adjusting the air and fuel mixture will therefore ensure proper engine power fuel consumption as well as control engine carbon monoxide exhaust emission. The individuals in the blister packing areas should put on masks to cover their mouth and nose and should be in gloves to prevent coming into direct contact with the blister packs. They should also have regular breaks so as to get away from the environment for some time so as to prevent gradual accumulation of the chemicals in their
