Safe Play Safety Plans

Kids and teenagers who enjoy playing football and other types of sport that is physically strenuous (whether at recess during school, kid day care center, or at the boys and girls club events) often forget or ignore proper safety equipment and usage of padding. This neglect, in addition to lack of education and enforcement among players and coaches alike often leads to great amounts of injury in a wide range of sports and physical activities. In order to reduce the risk of these injuries, I will dedicate myself to creating a policy called Safe Play. This policy will encompass cohorts of safety administrators; they will educate and oversee that safety protocols are being adhered to, before and during kids’ activities. Safe Play would reduce the risk of injury to children and teenagers nationwide through a standardized provision of safety equipment, both at a state and federal level. Local schools and day care centers will be provided safety gear, which will be paid for by taxpayers, donations, and local state and federal government funding. The first action will be to create a blueprint of my ideas and expected result. Next, I will employ silent negotiation with private companies such as Nike, Addidas, Puma, Under Armor, etc., convincing these companies of the reason they will want to support such ideas. I will create a website that will share information about my policy and its relation to kids’ safety. Finally, I will ask for all supporters to electronically sign an online petition - if they encourage and support the idea of “Safe Play.” Everyone – taxpayers, kids and teenagers, state and federal legislation – will all be affected and required to partake and educated neighboring kids of the importance of safety equipment during sports
