Today I read about “Driver’s ED” when Remy was talking about her crush Morgan, and which she seems to really like. I realized that Lark was not actually the driver’s instructor. I do not know their name so I’m going to call them the driver instructor. I also found out the driver’s ed car was not damaged that much as I thought, Remy hit a road divider and there was no serious damage. “Driver’s ED” is a very confusing book to me but I get some of it.…
As for giving the accurate information, both of these sources have done it. I found many of these advices helpful and/or my driving teacher has already told me the advices. As mentioned before, Nemours Foundation is behind the first source. That tells us that the source has been founded by Nemours, that is a Children’s Health System, which means that the focus lies on children’s health.…
He did not take Driver’s Ed, he learned how to drive through experience. The problem was, he had already gotten in two accidents during his first three months of driving, costing my parents a large amount of money. My mom and Dad were not going to take the same approach with me. They decided to enroll me in a Driver’s Ed class, held at SCC Beatrice,…
Most car insurance companies offer discounts to young drivers who complete driver's education programs, because those drivers are statistically less likely to engage in risky driving behaviors and get into car accidents. Defensive driving courses cover topics such as defensive driving techniques, traffics laws, drug and alcohol awareness, and driving in adverse weather. By taking theses courses it will not only provide you with a discount from your auto insurance but more importantly help improve confidence and skills when…
As driving can be dangerous, it can kill and injure many people throughout the United States. The S.T.A.N.D.U.P Act will require every state in America to make a Graduated License System with requirements and restrictions for young drivers. In the name of the act itself, each letter stands for a part of safety that is needed to keep a strong and safe community. I believe that this act needs to be passed to ensure the safety of everyone on the roads. Afterall, around 4,000 teenagers are killed every year from car accidents.…
Most teenage drivers are involved in car crashes every year, and more are killed than in any other age group. Even to this day, 6,000 teens die in accidents annually—more than fifteen a day (Triplett 1). These alarming statistics prove that receiving a driver’s license at the age of sixteen is merely too young. Teenagers are incompetent about being on the road, which increases the chances of putting others at risk because they have not developed a strong level of maturity and experience. The driving age among teens should be increased because facts prove that teenagers cannot handle the physiological and physical challenges that approach them on the road.…
Teens need to learn to drive at an early age incase there is ever an emergency and they are forced to drive. Teens need to learn responsibility while they’re still in high school so if they make a mistake they can be corrected. The minimum driving age should remain at 16 because teens can transport themselves instead of depending on a parent, they will gain responsibility, and their guardian can use that to keep them under control. The first reason the driving age should remain at 16 is so teens don't have to depend on their parents to transport them places. Parents are constantly having to take their children place.…

Driving is a continual function in most of our lives. In fact, according to the U.S. Census Bureau, many Americans now spend more than 100 hours a year just commuting to work. When operating our vehicles, it should be done as safely as possible because it is essential to everyone’s safety, but more often drivers become preoccupied with everything from loud music, applying makeup, eating food, and most commonly utilizing their cell phones. These distractions coupled with poor driving techniques are producing many of the accidents that happen every day. Studies show drivers who text while driving are more likely to become involved in a crash and most acknowledge human error as the most common cause of roadway fatalities.…

Elderly people account for a large percentage of drivers on the road.…
I myself find driving enjoyable because I love to explore and take in new experiences. Becoming a safe driver takes patience, almost as much as a sloth has. After being taught and successfully taking in the exotic feeling of getting your license, explore the wildlands. We are as free as a bird is in the sky, except in this case, on the…
The minimum driving age should not be raised from 16 to 18. In my opinion, teens already have a problem getting where they need to go considering their transportation is usually their parents. By the time they come home from work they are too exhausted to drive anywhere else. Starting out early than waiting until one becomes a legal adult to drive gives a teenager an opportunity to exercise responsibility and to have some independence. Just because teens are prone to do reckless, irresponsible things does not necessarily mean they will get into accidents because they are younger.…
