The SBCT project is based off ten core components to ensure effeteness and success. The ten core components are Judicial Leadership, Local Community Coordinator, Active Court Team Focused on the Big Picture, Targeting Infants and Toddlers in Out- of-Home Care, Placement and Concurrent Panning, Family Team Meetings Monthly to Review All Open Cases, Child-Focused Services, Parent-Child Contact (visitation), Continuum of Mental Health Services, Training and Technical Assistance, and lastly Evaluation. They also want to assure that the judges have the right resources to handle child welfare cases. They would like to eliminate court cases period and have other resource handle the case as in child welfare and other systems. Their number one goal is to make sure that everyone is aware of the potential harm that are being done to babies and infants and how it impacts them. Together, they work with individual families, learning important lessons that are applied to subsequent cases, creating the basis for wider practice and systems change. There are no serious cultural consideration for this program as they are not limited to one specific race. The only concern that would be considered is that the program is only protecting rural area. As in the states stated above are not the typical urban cities, where most child endangerment happens. The limitation, there are some concerns as in the availability, the program is only limited to certain states. Which prohibits other children being saved. Another concern is that the child is removed from the house and then is put in foster care. Sometimes the case can take longer than a year and if the program have not found a permanent home for the child then the child would be left in foster care.
