Sadie Robertson is a typical teenage girl who was born and locked into fame and glory by growing up on her family’s reality TV show, Duck Dynasty. Younger aged girls born into fame have habitually grown up to go crazy, but Sadie Robertson changed that by being more confident and strong while in the spotlight, instead of letting it pull her down. She has friends, though she recently broke up with her boyfriend of two years. She is in high school and has to do the same amount of work as anyone else, and she plays basketball. In her book she goes on to say, “I am a high school student. When I miss school in order to film, I have to make up my work and I have to do the same amount of homework as everyone else in my class. I also play sports, so I have to go to practice and show up to my games. Like other people my age, I love hanging out with my friends, but I cannot always do that because sometimes I have to work or travel because of the show” (Robertson 23).
