Everyday thousands of men and women put their life on the line for America’s freedom, and everyday Americans go about their lives oblivious to the sacrifice these servicemen and their families are making. Although these servicemen are celebrated and thanked on days such as Memorial day, Veterans day, July 4, 9/11, and any other time tragedy strikes, the truth is that they should be thanked and honored everyday. A few things Americans can do to show their appreciation are donate, volunteer, and show support. There are many ways, and things, that people can donate to servicemen and their families.
