Many people make sacrifices for love ones; Hassan and Amir are no exception to this. In the novel Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini, Hassan makes many sacrifices for Amir from standing up to bullies and lying for him. While it took Amir some time to start making sacrifices for Haasan he finally does from leaving his home in america, to rescue Sohrab (Hassan’s child).
Hassan’s love for his friend, half-brother is above and beyond leaps in bonds especially after the way Amir treated him when they were younger. After looking for awhile he finally finds Sohrab in a hotel parking lot where they talk and Sohrab talks about how he starting to forget what his parents look like when Amir gives him a picture of Hassan with Sohrab. Amir plans on adopting Sohrab even promising him he would never have to go back to an orphanage. Amir went to talk to someone in the embassy to see how he could adopt Sohrab where he find out he can't since he has no proof of his parents being dead or that he is Sohrab father’s half brother.
