Sacrifice In The Book

Decent Essays
In the book the sacrifices were much more meaningful and had a lot of explanation behind them rather than just being there. In the movie, he sacrifices happened rapid-fire without allowing the watcher to digest what was happening in the story or even realize there was a sacrifice. Most sacrifices, the small ones, had basically no meaning in the movie. They were cut out. There were only big sacrifices, and sometimes the big sacrifices have no sense or just make watchers want to cringe without realizing truly what the sacrifices was. In the book, readers were allowed to pause and suck in the meaning, and there was a small explanation on what was behind the sacrifice. Everything was meaningful. Even the characters in the book helped with the meaning.
