Sacrifice In Lord Of The Flies

Have you ever had to sacrifice something that you really wanted or needed to help yourself or others? In William Golding’s adventure story Lord Of The Flies, the main character Ralph and the kids with him, have to make a new life on an island. They have to make their own rules, and sacrifice most of what they have learned from their parents, the memories they remember from everything they have done throughout their lives, and the material objects they had with them to support everyone on the island and survive. In the book, there are many sacrifices that the kids make to either help someone, or save their lives, specially Piggy, who makes the most sacrifices in the book.
