Sacrifice For Research Paper

There are many things in my life that i solely believe are worth fighting for and are worth risking many things in order to keep them around longer.I would sacrifice many things in order to be around my loved ones and have animals live a long and healthy life and being able to reproduce and not have to worry about any danger. Some of the sacrifices I may take for these things are taking a bullet or missing a limb. The first thing that I would fight for are the people I love. This may include friends, family,or people I care about in my daily life. These people mean a lot to me and I would do almost anything so I can be by their side and I can show them how much they mean to me. I would sacrifice many things just so I can be around

Rev. Franklin Graham has been voicing out against U.S. President Barack Obama’s order to give transgender access to public school restrooms, but now he has upped the heat in the LGBT debate by urging his followers to be willing to be martyred for their “intolerant” beliefs. In a Facebook message posted on Sunday, Rev. Franklin Graham asked his followers about the things or principles that they would be willing to take a bullet for. Citing the biblical story of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego who chose to be thrown into a fiery furnace rather than bow down before King Nebuchadnezzar’s idol, the evangelist said Christians should be willing to martyr themselves or subject themselves to God’s wrath, Raw Story relays. “What would you take a bullet for?”…

“He who would accomplish little must sacrifice little; he who would achieve much must sacrifice much; he who would attain highly must sacrifice greatly.” ~ James Allen. An individual will go to extensive lengths to stand up for what they want, even if it means risking their own life to achieve. This can be illustrated through the actions of high altitude climbers and extreme sport athletes. These individuals are willing to sacrifice themselves merely based on a passionate aspiration.…

Here's a question what is something that you would risk your life for to prevent it from getting taken away? To stand up to the ruling powers in society to protect a belief you hold dear. For many people it would be a loved one, a prized possession, or an infraction on your unalienable rights as specified by our Founding Fathers . For the animals in Animal Farm it was the idea of living free of human rule that made them fight to the Death to capture and protect their new freedom. For Guy Montag in Fahrenheit 451 it was the pursuit of knowledge that made him give everything he held dear.…

I think that if a person strongly believes that they will save many lives or much hardship in the future then it is not so wrong to sacrifice themselves as a martyr to their cause. For example Emily Davison – a passionate Suffragette threw herself in front of a horse at the famous Epsom Derby to send a message that she was willing to sacrifice herself as part of the plight for women to gain the right to vote. I personally feel that this shocking act was not pivotal to women gaining the right to vote and she did not necessarily need to die for what she believed in. The quote “It is better to die for what you believe in rather than to lie to save your life” can be interpreted in a number of ways. Firstly it could be describing if someone had to lie about his or her ideas or beliefs in order to stay alive..…
