My mother had warned me. I innocently did not listen and I was taken away. Pluto, he had captured me and taken me into the Underworld, his territory, his kingdom. He promised me beautiful things, and he delivered. He treated me like a queen at first. Soon after, he made me his maid. I had to do everything and anything he wanted. If I made the a minimal mistake I would be punished with hot iron rods being pushed into my back leaving horrible scars. I didn’t know the meaning of the word miserable until then.
I missed my mother. Oh how I wished I listened to her words! I lived years of misery. Pluto had me wash and polish the gold floors he had. If he saw one little speck of dust he would torture me for that. “Why?!” I would cry while he tortured

I had to do it. I needed to. He brutally pushed me into the high… very high brick maze. I went straight, left, right and turned around and tried many different paths but I always ended up at the start of the maze. I saw how high the maze was. What if I climbed it? No, it’s too high. I have to try. No there is no way you can climb it. I have to for my mother. I proceeded to try and climb the brick wall. I was trying and trying. I had no other choice. I digged my fingers into the brick. Crack crack. I broke my fingers and toes with each move I made towards getting to the top. The pain was immense. I slowly made it. After An hour and twenty five minutes I had climbed it. Yet, I had already been walking in the maze for about half an hour. I had only five minutes! I climbed the maze and I over saw the whole maze. It seemed eternal. I began running over it trying not to fall in. I drowned in pain, but I was not giving up. I only had a minute left and I finally saw the end of it.
