Sacred Person Research Paper

A vintage watch that was given to you from a friend or relative, a championship trophy that you won with your team, a special photograph with someone you love, these are all objects that could have meaning to someone, something that they consider sacred. But does the object itself hold value or the meaning behind it? If that same item was given to a random person, would it still hold the same meaning to them as it did to you? I believe an object is a representation of what is truly sacred, your character. Your character is sacred because it defines who you are as a person. There are many factors that define your character and it sticks with you forever. It represents the hard work and dedication to improve yourself in order to capture that title. It shows the trust and camaraderie that they’ve built with their teammates. Those values are kept within that trophy which makes it sacred to the team that earned it. This holds true even outside sports. Any object that is special to someone is a representation of possibly an event or belief that helps shape a part of their character. Something that is sacred to you may not have any meaning to anyone else. The sacredness of an object lies within yourself. Your character is what defines the value in an item. I believe that what does the defining is much more sacred than what is
