As Alternate Awards Program Manager, the only task I handled was the submission of Command Master Chief Rosado’s award submission into TV5, in the absence of the Primary Awards Manager. This critical element is not applicable to me, as it is 99.9% of the time handled by the Primary Manager. If he knows he will be absent at a time when an award item needs to be completed, a thorough turnover is always done and I will process the item if/when needed with 100% accuracy. I have made 27 NDAWS entries, ensuring awards are properly submitted electronically in the award history before mailing them PERS-32 for OMPF record entry.…

I think for me, and probably most others this was and is a huge source of frustration. My NCO leadership was as a section leader in the infantry in the Marines. My experience there is separated by several degrees from my current position. It is hard to really compare this to an Army aviation NCO, and even harder to compare to my role as an Army aviation Warrant Officer.…

One of main things I am doing this semester outside of squadron is continuing to be the cadet program manager for my capstone. I had the option to step down from it at the end of last semester and do a less stressful and visible job within the capstone. Though, I decided not to step down because I saw this position as a very good way to practice my leadership qualities that I am trying to strengthen.…

Born and raised in a small and poor village in southern Vietnam, where a secondary student can stab his friends in a fight, where most parents want their children to go fishing instead of going to school, I soon understood how essential education is in life as I was a child. Therefore, since my elementary school, I have always tried my best to get the most from education, even in study or extracurricular activities. During my life, not only did I gain several national, provincial prizes in English like the bronze medal in the National Internet Olympiad of English, the second prize in provincial academic competition,… and scored 93 on TOEFL test, despite difficulties of limited access to study materials, but also I got sport achievements, and other experiences due to my engagement with different activities after school like volunteering, organizing meetings in school and being a part-timer. I attributed what I have achieved to my iron will and my endeavor to accomplish my goal.…
