The KTEA-3 measured various Jasmine’s reading and math achievement components. Jasmine’s achievement scores reflected diversity with stronger and weaker areas suggested. Her overall performance showed predominantly low skills, when compared to children in the same grade with the exception of her math computation which ranged along the borderline to below average range and along the 4th grade equivalency. She was better able to solve prewritten math problems using pencil and paper including 2 and 3 digit addition and subtraction with regrouping, multiplication and simple division.
Weaknesses:
Jasmine’s weaker achievement areas included letter & word recognition, nonsense word decoding, and the reading and decoding composites,
