Is there a broad, unique customer base that honors loyalty? Verizon Wireless is one of the best companies for retention sales. With Verizon actually becoming Verizon branded in 2000 that should speak volumes about their business. Since then they have merged with Bell-alantic and purchased Yahoo and AOL. Each of these are very successful companies that Verizon recognize and took advantage of.
