What makes VZW different from other carriers? Verizon Wireless is the leader in innovative plans and pricings, along with services. They strive to maintain their competitive edge with ease. They are a worldly company that understands customer wants and needs and strives to fulfill those daily.
Is there a broad, unique customer base that honors loyalty? Verizon Wireless is one of the best companies for retention sales. As a matter of fact they have changed their commission structure to better accommodate for that, and to bring awareness to front-line sales. Verizon also has a tool named compass. Any customer with a base knowledge of a business that has treated customers well for years is appealing. With Verizon actually becoming Verizon branded in 2000 that should speak volumes about their business. Since then they have merged with Bell-alantic and purchased Yahoo and AOL. Each of these are very successful companies that Verizon recognize and took advantage of.
