As we know SWOT stands for strengths, weakness, opportunities and threats. SWOT analysis is one of the most important aspect in formulating any organization strategy. The basic aim of SWOT analysis is to develop good strategies that exploit opportunities, minimize the threats and avoid the weaknesses. 4.1 STRENGTH:
• Largest chain: it is one of the largest chains of hotels that are present in Pakistan at the moment.
• Enormous facilities: ISH has greatest number of rooms and banquet halls.
• Enormous car parking: it may seem that ISH lack parking facility but that perception is wrong it has one of the largest underground parking present that no other hotel has.
• High quality products: ISH is the symbol of quality with respect to the things

Well there is no much competition between them and Serena but to some extent Marriott and Pearl continental are providing low packages to its customers and more incentives and may cause Serena’s customers to move to these hotels because these hotels target market are the lower uppers and upper middle class and they can afford the rates of these hotels. On the other end Serena does not compromise on its rate and they are fixed so their target market is the elite, business class, diplomats and minister, hence there is a little chance the upper class will move to pearl continental or Marriott but the lower uppers and upper middle will do so due to low packages …show more content…
They provide high quality products and services to its customers and due to its friendly and professional way it is part of leading hotels of the world. ISH doesn’t provide performance excellence in terms of monetary terms, in fact at Serena a formal appraisal is given to the employees and their pictures are hung on the wall at the main cafeteria i.e. SATOON. In my view some sort of monetary benefits to its customers and there are problems with ISH performance appraisal form which is quite subjective in nature so they should also look into this matter as
