Cornerstone OnDemand is the worlds leading provider of software that helps organizations recruit, train, and manage their employees. Cornerstone also is known as CSOD, currently has its solutions used to train over 33.5 million people in 192 countries, and in 43 languages. CSOD is snowballing, and since its founding in 1999, it has grown from three employees to almost 2,000 globally. These employees reside all over the earth with large presences in the United States, United Kingdom, and Israel. This falls directly in line with CSOD’s mission to improve access to education on a global basis through online learning. ("About Us | Cornerstone", 2017)

At the end of 2016, CSOD reported revenue of $423,124,000 which was a 25% increase from 2015. This is a pattern of success as 2015 saw a 29% increase in revenue from 2014. ("Cornerstone OnDemand, Inc. - Investors - Financials - Financial Summary", 2017) This rapid growth is going to continue, and investment firms believe this as well as on November 8th, 2017 it was announced that Silver Lake and LinkedIn would be making a $300 million strategic initiative in CSOD to fund growth initiatives and repurchasing common shares. First, it utilized a market-plus compensation plan which allows it to pull some of the best talents in the industry to come work for the organization. Next, CSOD allows many of its positions to be filled by remote employees. This allows CSOD not to be constrained by the talent in a few geographic areas. Also, the brand recognition of CSOD is a major strength as they are recognized as a leader in the talent management space. ("Cornerstone OnDemand Reviews", 2017)
Weaknesses
However, CSOD also has many weaknesses. Cornerstone’s most purchased product suite is their learning management system. Yet, CSOD does not have any learning content of its own, so it either has to resell other vendors courses or allow clients to purchase their content separately and host the content on CSOD’s LMS. This puts CSOD at the mercy of the content providers as they could refuse to work with CSOD which would eliminate their ability to resell their content. Another weakness is that it is sometimes hard to manage remote employees as you cannot observe them as you can in an office. A majority of CSOD’s employees are remote and therefore, CSOD relies on the employees being motivated to work to get projects

Neuroscientists at the John Hopkins University School of Medicine were able to determine that a group of cells found in the adult brain remain highly active by transforming into insulating nerve fibers. These nerve fibers then formed scars that contributed to tissue repair when they were artificially inserted into a group of mice. Their work brings to light how these multifunctional cells communicate with one another in the central nervous system (CNS), also known as the brain and spinal cord. The removal of one of these special cells, known as oligodendrocyte precursor cells (OPCs), causes a neighboring cell to rapidly divide in order to restore the lost cell and maintain a proper balance of cells within the brain. OPCs eventually can mature to become support cells known as…

Clients typically receive a high return on investment from the program when compared to the one-off ad-hoc pricing they would have had to pay if they had not signed Premier Pass. This high return on investment for the clients is skewed, however, because had they been required to pay full price for each enrollment, many clients would not have sent that many participants to virtual classes to begin with. This is where the disconnect was with leadership views that Premier Pass was causing the Client Education team to lose money instead of earn it. Opportunity.…

In this paper, I will discuss the issue of entrenching a charter by how it violates the principles of democracy. I would like to state that sections one and thirty-three are not sufficient enough to overcome this objection. More specifically, the discussion of my argument will mainly focus on how section one guarantees those rights; however there are reasonable limits in which we citizens cannot overpass. I will also focus my argument on how section thirty-three allows governments and legislatures to overtake the rights and freedoms that are prescribed by the charter. Indeed, Canadian citizens are protected by their rights and they live in a democratic society where they are encouraged to express their needs.…

If I could declare independence at Zionsville High school, I Would want to declare on homework, freedom of speech, and the food served. All of these topics could benefit Zionsville High school, not only the students, but the teachers and staff that work there. Work that we take home, called homework that is most of the time due the next day can be very helpful, but sometimes more of a hassle than helping the students. I would agree on the part that some homework is helpful, but then there is homework that has no meaning and doesn’t help with better understanding the topic or unit.…

Directly in the mission statement of the United States Declaration of Independence is the proclamation that all men are endowed with certain unalienable rights, and that among these are “Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness” However, there is no clear cut definition of happiness nor how one can go about achieving it. Happiness is quite a subjective term that has been explored in numerous different lights. In his commencement speech to the University of South Carolina, Ben S. Bernanke describes what economics and social science have to say about personal happiness, and what those ideas imply both for economic policymaking and the choices of individuals.…

Calvary Commission, the seminary that I stayed at, is located a few miles out of town on a land that seems to never end. I could walk miles and still find myself to be on Calvary Commission’s property. The first day I was there, my group and I went on a little hike up to the prayer chapel, which sat on the top of a hill, surrounded by trees, and a bonfire pit stood a few feet away. This was my group’s first real exposure to how great the people at Calvary Commission are.…

As I was registering for my Fall 2016 classes, Cornerstone Experience was a mandatory orientation course, so I automatically thought it would be a waste of time. However, I was curious about what the class would entail, so I asked one of my friends who took the course his freshman year. He said it was mostly group activities/assignments, and I would have to go around campus and take pictures of the places I went. He left out just how thought-provoking the lectures would be. My all-time favorite lecture in the class was mindfulness.…
